iCUE 4.0 Is Finally Integrated Into A Case

Corsair’s iCUE software suite has appeared in just about every single product line they have, except for their enclosures.  They seek to change that with the release of the Corsair iCUE 5000T RGB full sized case, moving beyond their smart cases that technically support iCUE to a case with 260 individually addressable RGB LEDs embedded into six LED strips and three fans.  They have also included two Commander Core XT hardware, which can control iCUE compatible hardware and also has two thermal sensors.

The case measures 530 x 251 x 560 mm (20.9 x 9.9 x 22″), fits up to E-ATX boards and can be outfitted with four 140mm and a four 120mm fans, or up to ten 120mm if you prefer.  You could also substitute a 120mm AIO cooler and two 360mm radiators if you are more of a watercooling fan.

The thermal performance of the case is respectable in the configuration TechPowerUp tested with results towards the middle of the pack; not the best but not a slouch by any means.  The price is somewhat troublesome, as not everyone is willing to spend $400 on a case.  If that doesn’t immediately dissuade you then the full review can be found here.
