Alder Lake Comes To AIDA64 v6.60 2

DDR5 And Raptor Lake Benchmarking Too

Today you can update to AIDA64 v6.60 to get support for Intel’s new processors and DDR5 as well.  The update adds AVX-512 and AVX2 accelerated benchmarks for Alder Lake, allowing for the proper measuring of both the performance and efficiency cores present on Intel’s 12 generation chips.  The update also adds proper support for DDR5 XMP 3.0 memory profiles allowing you to dive deep into the timings of your shiny new memory.  This should be of great assistance to overclockers trying to get the best out of their new systems.

The update also adds support for Raptor Lake, long before it launches around Q3 of 2022.  We do know a bit about Raptor Lake thanks to leakers, the top i9 model will sport 24 cores and 32 threads and should have improved power management features over Alder Lake.  It will also feature an new cache design to improve gaming performance, though what exactly that is remains a matter of speculation for now.  AIDA 64 v6.60 also features initial support for Intel’s 14th generation Meteor Lake, which is thought to be two years off, though rumours suggest Intel has already started fabbing the chips.

If you have AIDA 64 already then check for updates, otherwise this might be a good time to check out a free trial to see if it deserves a place in your toolbox.
