The DROP ALT Keyboard Offers Halo, Kailh, And Cherry MX Switches
TechPowerUp reviewed the CTRL full sized mechanical keyboard from DROP a while back, properly deciding to review the smaller TKL ALT after it. Presumably there will eventually be a DEL model with even less keys released at some point in the future. As with the CTRL, the ALT gives you a choice between a Space Gray body or a basic black model, in addition to allowing you to choose between any of the popular mechanical switches on the market.
As with the other DROP models, the software is actually a repository of firmware available on Github, which includes an online configurator to design your own layouts. Once you have the layout finished, a tool allows you to compile and download the firmware and with a couple of quick lines in PowerShell you can apply the new firmware and layout. This may dissuade some from looking at them as a keyboard provider but if you prefer to reprogram every key it offers a huge amount of flexibility.
