Computer Temps High? Try The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 420 AIO Cooler 2

Do Not Drink The Liquid!

If you are looking for extreme cooling, ARCTIC might have a solution, an AIO watercooler with three 140mm fans on the radiator.  Obviously you will be limited in your choice of cases if you intend to attach such a huge radiator, but there are plenty of them out there with three 140mm fans on at least one facing.

In order to help chill out your CPU even more, there is a 3000RPM fan located on the pump which did seem to help performance without adding much noise to the system overall.  The cooler comes with 450mm EPDM braided tubing, which should help with ease of installation in larger cases.  As is tradition now at Nikktech, their results include dozens of other models of coolers to help you figure out exactly how the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 420 matches up.  That also means they continue to use the i7 3930K in their testing, which sports a 130W TDP.

A number of coolers came close to the Liquid Freezer II 420’s performance under load, but none provided better cooling and while the same isn’t true for idle performance, that is not exactly what this cooler is for.   The cooler also provided impressive performance when they measured noise levels, as it was one of the quietest out there.  Indeed, about the only major negative might be the price, at $196.87 it is a bit expensive but you certainly get great performance for your money.
