Nintendo Indie World Star SkateBIRD Gets New Trailer Showing Off Unseen Rooftop Level 2

Glass Bottom Games, the indie game developer behind SkateBIRD, has shared a brand new trailer which shows off a previously unseen level from the game.

You might remember SkateBIRD as one of the stars of the December 2019 Indie World Showcase – it was originally planned to kickflip onto to Switch eShop in 2020, but has since been pushed back. It’s now destined to arrive on Nintendo’s system, as well as PC and other consoles, later this year.

Back to the new trailer, the video above shows off the ‘Rooftop’ stage, a “densely packed course with ramps perfect for reaching new heights.” A demo of the game will soon be playable thanks to the Steam Winter Festival taking place from today until 9th February, so make sure to check out SkateBIRD’s Steam page if you’re interested in giving that a go.

Drop-in, tune out, and shred to your heart’s content across micro skateparks created from household objects perfect for bird-sized skaters. Link combos together, pull off steezy lines, unlock hot new gear, and attract fans.

Will you be keeping an eye out for this one when it lands on Switch later this year? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
