Teams And Alexa Integration, ANC, Bluetooth And A Fancy Microphone
We tend to focus on gaming headsets, but they are not always the best solution for general usage and carrying on long conversations as they are built to make your gaming session more immersive. Sennheiser is a great example of a company which focused their energy towards headphones which are better for business usage or for conferencing with friends and family and their ADAPT 660 is a good example.
There was a fair amount of effort put into the microphone when you compare it to a gaming headset, it is actually an array of three Digital MEMs beamforming microphones which offer significantly better audio quality than your average headset. To ensure you have a peaceful workspace there are also four microphones in the active noise cancellation system so you shouldn’t be disturbed by anything going on around you.
It can launch Teams with a single push, or be incorporated with Alexa to let you use voice commands, with software to train itself for better vocal recognition if you so wish. The Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity is designed to make it easy to bounce between a phone and a computer, though you can also use it as a wireless headset as well. They come with a hefty regular price but at the moment they are just over $280, a ~36% savings if this is something you or someone you know might be interested in.
