Move Over Acer, iiyama Has Upped Their Model Name Game

If you are looking for a 3440 x 1440 ultrawide VA panel capable of 144Hz and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro then the 34″, 1500R curved G-Master GB3466WQSU display from iiyama is worth a peek.   Like Wasabi Mango and Catleap, you might not have heard of these displays before but you should definitely familiarize yourself with them.  They offer quality which meets or beats the manufacturers you are familiar with, and at better pricing.

Physically the display offers two HDMI and two DisplayPort connections, a  3.5mm jack, as well as a single USB upstream connector with two 5Gbps USB Type-A ports out.  The stand does not offer rotation but you can tilt it from -5 to +20 degrees and it can be raised up to 110mm (4.4″).  The OSD is controlled via a joystick on the right hand side, as opposed to offering multiple buttons  to navigate through the various settings; one setting not present is the ability to remap what the joystick does.

If you do decide to hunt down this monitor and order it, be aware that KitGuru did notice a flickering issue which can be easily fixed with a firmware  update.  Other than that they loved the display, you can read why here.
